To the king of all kings, we bow down.
Your name is Jesus, and you have the reputation of providing us with an identity that is secure in the Heavens.
Yahweh, we have wrestled and grasped endlessly trying to be secure; but the safest place is when we wrestle with you and are pinned. We surrender to your blessing and to the name that you call us by.
In our struggle against you, do not walk away and leave us in our anger, hurt and defensiveness. No, we will not stop until you bless, subdue, and restore us in your image.
With our limp of humility, we walk into the transformed life and leave behind the crooked, grasping desire to be our own salvation.
Our Father, who art in Heaven—hallowed by your Name.
