In a move that’s disappointed everyone, White House Secretary Jen Psaki defended Hunter Biden for selling his paintings at a New York art show which will keep the list of buyers secret. Psaki claimed that it would be “challenging for an anonymous person that we don’t know and Hunter Biden doesn’t know, to have influence.”

“After careful consideration, a system has been established that allows for Hunter Biden to work in his profession within reasonable safeguards,” Psaki said during a briefing Friday. “Of course, he has the right to pursue an artistic career.”

What followed was outrage on Twitter. New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik pointed out “there are former local, state, and federal government officials that have gone to prison for far far less than this.”

Later, even Obama’s Ethics Chief Walter Shaub expressed outrage on CNN. He claimed the White House “outsourced government ethics to an art dealer.” He continued, saying he thought it was “preposterous and very disappointing.”
