Yet another protest for Cuba broke out, this time in front of the White House Monday. This comes after weeks of demonstrations nationwide.

“What do Cuban’s want? Freedom,” protestors shouted. “F*** antifa. F*** you and Black Lives Matter!”

Meanwhile, President Biden and Vice President Harris remained silent on the issues in Cuba. Instead, they celebrated the anniversary for the Americans with Disabilities Act. But another anniversary happened Monday. It was the 68th anniversary of Fidel Castro rising to power in Cuba, beginning his communist regime.

As a result, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) along with 18 other members of congress wrote a letter demanding a meeting with Biden. They want “to discuss how Congress and this Administration can work together to bring an end to the oppressive communist regime in Havana and liberate the Cuban people.”

McCarthy’s Advisory Team on Cuba signed the letter. They include Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL) AND Rick Scott (R-FL), Reps. Devin Nunes (R-CA), Mike McCaul (R-TX), Cathy Rodgers (R-WA), Kay Granger (R-TX), Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL), Carlos Gimenez (R-FL), Maria Salazar (R-FL), Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), Alex Mooney (R-WV), Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH), Mark Green (R-TN), Hal Rogers (R-KY), Ken Calvert (R-CA), Victoria Spartz (R-IN), Chris Smith (R-NJ) and Resident Commissioner Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon (R-PR).
