No Saturday Night Life host in recent history has been talked about as much as Elon Musk. But even though he’s faced negative comments from cast members, SNL has not rebooked him, sources saying that it’s up to cast members to keep their distance if they’re “unhappy.”

First, Aidy Bryant, a cast member since 2012, started to let her opinion be known. She reposted the below tweet on her Instagram, letting her followers assume who it was about.

Then, Elon Musk tweeted the following, which had a lot of people scratching their heads.

Even Bowen Yang responded with: “What the **** does that even mean?” Dunaway has been a cast member for two years, but he’s written for the show since 2018.

Notably, an SNL source reportedly told Page Six that none of the cast members will be forced to do anything they don’t want to.
