Various gunmen in the city of Chicago shot 41 people this weekend. As a result four victims died. According to CBS Chicago, five of the victims were under 18 years of age.

First, at 5 PM Friday one 15-year-old boy and another 16-year-old boy came under fire while walking down the street. One took a bullet to the shoulder and the other took one in his foot. Both remained in good condition at Loretto Hospital.

Next, a little bit before 11 AM Saturday a man committed an armed robbery. He shot a 68-year-old man over his belongings. His victim survived.

Then, some hours later at 1:45 PM a man was driving with his 1-year-old son in the back seat. Suddenly a gunman in a maroon sedan began shooting at his car. While neither received gunshots, the child in the back cut his feet as a result of the broken glass.

In addition, another vehicular shooting happened early Sunday. Police received reports of a shootout between a Toyota Camry and another vehicle. A lone K9 Unit officer happened to see the Camry and hear the gunshots while stopped at a red light.

So, the officer revved the engine and turned on its emergency lights. As a result, the Camry blew past the red light, hitting the back of a Nissan Rogue. A passenger was subsequently ejected from the vehicle upon impact. The car was full, and one passenger died. Those in the Toyota Camry escaped on foot.
