Ashli Babbitt’s husband sues DC police for the name of the officer that shot her

Ashli Babbitt’s husband Aaron has filed a lawsuit to force the police to hand over the records of Ashli’s shooting. This way, Babbitt could know the name of the officer who shot and killed her.

Previously, Babbitt filed a Freedom of Information Act Request over the records. But, it went unanswered. DC Police have not publicized the name of the officer and the Justice Department decided not to pursue charges either.
