As Many People Have Died From The Covid 19 Vaccines As From All Vaccines In The Last 20 Years Combined

I firmly believe the numbers have reached the point where we now have as many people who have died from the vaccines as have died from covid.

That is my personal opinion. But it's not without merit. I don't believe it is.

Dr. McCollough is a world-renowned cardiologist and virologist. He has well over 45 peer-reviewed papers to his name, and is one of the most widely respected specialists in the world.

At least, he was one of the most respected specialists in medicine until he started speaking out against the vaccines. But money and power take a lot of low blows at people.

Check out THIS VIDEO from Dr. McCollough.

The Epoch Times summarized Dr. McCullough’s answer this way:

Though it may seem counterintuitive, Dr. McCullough said that sudden deaths that happen during sleep are biochemically similar to the sudden deaths during or just after vigorous exercise.
The reason people die seemingly inexplicably in their sleep, Dr. McCullough explained, is sometimes because of a surge in catecholamines during the end of the sleep cycle. This natural biochemical change is the body’s signal to wake up.
These catecholamines can increase our heart rate, blood pressure, and breathing rate, among other things. A surge in catecholamines, whether it happens during sleep or during exercise, can stress the heart and cause it to beat arrhythmically, and if a young person’s heart has been damaged by an infection, vaccination, or for any other reason, the surge of catecholamines can be lethal. This is the reason, McCullough said, that people seem to die in their sleep. They’re really dying just before dawn.

Soft Tissue In Dinosaur Bones Causes Hard Reaction With Atheists At California State University

Mea Culpa. Putting this right up here on the top.

It seems when I originally posted this, I missed the fact that the news report I saw come up in one of my feeds was from a CBS Los Angeles article from a long time ago - like, 10 years ago. I thought it was a recent article.

The link I referenced was in a post from 2023 but it was referencing this story which actually was from 2014. "Trust but verify." And I didn't verify.

Iron sharpens iron. Sorry about that.

As such, it's more of a human interest story than a "current event." But it's still a story worth telling, although now for perhaps a different reason. Consider this the real story (after the corrections now made to the orignial I posted earlier today).

About 10 years ago, CBS Los Angeles filed an interesting report about a lawsuit filed against Southern California University.

There was a paleontology researcher by the name of Mark Armitage who found a huge triceratops horn. It was the largest ever found at the site where he was doing his research.

Upon examination of the horn under a high-powered microscope back at CSUN, Dacus says Armitage was "fascinated" to find soft tissue on the sample - a discovery Bacus [Mark Armitage's lawyer] said stunned members of the school's biology department and even some students "because it indicates that dinosaurs roamed the earth only thousands of years in the past rather than going extinct 60 million years ago."

It seems, though, that the REAL problem is that Armitage was (and still is) a "Creationist."

And in university settings, being a "creationist" is a bad thing. You see,

Creationism implies a Creator. And at University, that is apparently not something you can say.

The problem is that soft tissue in a dinosaur bone should not be possible in a bone that is theoretically billions of years old.

So, why the firing?

Well, here is the problem.

"Since some creationists, like [Armitage], believe that the triceratops bones are only 4,000 years old at most, [Armitage's] work vindicated his view that these dinosaurs roamed the planet relatively recently," according to the complaint filed July 22 in Los Angeles Superior Court.

The lawsuit against the CSUN board of trustees cites discrimination for perceived religious views.

Armitage's findings were eventually published in July 2013 in a peer-reviewed scientific journal. But according to court documents, shortly after the original soft tissue discovery,

A CSUN official told Armitage, "We are not going to tolerate your religion in this department!"

It's frustrating but not unexpected that the religion of scientism doesn't want to tolerate the religion of the bible.

But that was never supposed to be what science is about.

When liberalism and secularism take over, they can never tolerate honest debate. They must crush opposing opinions rather than having to give them reasoned responses.

And, years later, after the case was settled,

There was follow-up coverage in 2017 article on a website called WNG.ORG that gives more detail.

Armitage published his paper in the journal Acta Histochemica but he did not mention his thoughts on the age of the specimen or his belief in a young earth. He showed the tissue samples to some of his students and engaged them in discussion about the age of the fossil. Soon after, according to the lawsuit, his supervisor stormed into the lab and shouted, “We are not going to tolerate your religion in this department.” A few days later, the university fired him.
Even though the school denied religious discrimination and said it lacked funds to continue his position, they settled with Armitage in late 2016 for $399,500, according to Inside Higher Ed. The university said the settlement was not an admission of guilt.

They didn't settle because they believed Armitage was right. It was a settlement of "convenience."

“The decision to settle was based on a desire to avoid the costs involved in a protracted legal battle, including manpower, time, and state dollars,” CSUN spokeswoman Carmen Ramos Chandler said in an email to The Sundial, the university’s student newspaper.

In fact, according to the University of California Press, their position is (still) that this idea of soft tissue equals recent dating needs to be dismissed.

The recent discovery of preserved cells and soft tissues in certain dinosaur bones seems incompatible with an age of millions of years, given the expectation that cells and soft tissues should have decayed away after millions of years. However, evidence from radiometric dating shows that dinosaur fossils are indeed millions of years old.
Under certain circumstances, cells and soft tissues in bone are protected from complete disintegration. Formation of a mineral concretion around a bone protects biomolecules inside it from hydrolysis by groundwater. Infusion and coating with iron and iron compounds at a critical point in the decay process protects cells within a bone from autolysis. Cross-linking and association with bone mineral surfaces furnish added protection to collagen fibers in a bone. These protective factors can result in soft-tissue preservation that lasts millions of years. It would benefit educators to be aware of these phenomena, in order to better advise students whose acceptance of biological evolution has been challenged by young-Earth creationist arguments that are based on soft tissues in dinosaur fossils.

The bigger problem is that the anti-religious, scientism bias continues.

According to WMD,

Although he won the settlement, Armitage reports the discrimination hasn’t stopped. Since the university fired him, he has discovered additional soft tissue in fossils on two different digs, but he cannot find a journal willing to publish his papers. “I’m clearly being blackballed,” he said.

It seems to be the pattern. Journals refuse to publish these kinds of papers (peer pressure for peer reviewed articles, maybe) and then, when researchers try to present the research they have done, it's dismissed because it's not "peer reviewed."

I believe that's because they don't have any good, reasoned responses for their positions in the end. They must suppress what they cannot refute.

The problem is only getting worse. As I have said elsewhere, wokeism could easily kill our culture.

Reminds me of Romans 1:

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

God is revealing much to those who are looking. Pray for the truth to be revealed, no matter what it is, and no matter the cost.

Because the truth will make us all free.

The Baffling Incompetence at the National Institutes of Health

An Open Letter: Reflections On The NIH Interview With Franklin Graham

Dear Dr. Who

I watched (twice) your interview with Franklin Graham of Samaratin’s Purse regarding the Covid-19 vaccines and the musings between you over the safety and efficacy of the vaccines and your frustration with the apparent lack of willingness for about 90,000,000 of America’s finest to roll up their sleeves and volunteer for the jab.

I will say at the outset for you and for my readers (mostly for my readers, since I’m assuming you’ll not really be reading this) that I’m not a medical professional. Not at all.

Now, I’m a fairly smart guy and I know how to reason logically. But there are so many things about the coronavirus and these vaccines you’re pushing that I don’t know. I’m not going to propose to teach you anything here about the virus or the vaccines.

But you made a statement in that interview (a number of them, actually) starting at about the 2:35 mark that just leaves me scratching my head in disbelief.

You commented to Rev. Graham that there are about 90,000,000 Americans who are still unwilling to roll up their sleeves to get the jab and you’re having a hard time understanding why.

Pardon me, sir. But as the head of the NIH, if you think these vaccines are the cat’s pyjamas and 90 million citizens don’t want to partake, shouldn’t you be making more of an effort to find out why people are reluctant to get the jab?

Look. I get that you’re convinced you’ve got a wonderful product here. You rattle off all kinds of statistics about how safe they are and how effective they are at preventing extreme symptoms from Covid. You think the evidence is quite compelling that this vaccine is an answer to prayer.

But you seem oblivious to the fact that millions of Christians, having prayed about taking this vaccine, believe God is showing them quite clearly not to get it. And you don’t know why.

Shouldn’t you be asking them why?

But the problem (for me, at least, and I know I’m far from alone) is that all the information you gave out about your take on these vaccines has nothing to do with the medical issues that concern me and millions of others.

At about 3:56 in the video, you say it is interesting that 96% of healthcare providers have been vaccinated – that as people who have the evidence, they’ve clearly rolled up their sleeves to get the vaccine.

Question for you: of the 96% of medical professionals who have gotten the vaccine, what percentage of those have gotten it under duress – under threat of losing their jobs if they didn’t take the jab?

What percentage of these people who are health care workers got the vaccine, not because they believed in it, but were threatened to lose their jobs if they refused it or spoke out against it?

Shouldn’t you find out?

You don’t speak to any of my concerns about this thing:

  • How many injuries have there been with this vaccine that you are aware of? Why is this vaccine still being held up as the best way forward, when typically 25 or 50 deaths from a shot would remove a vaccine from the running in trials?
  • Why did Moderna/Pfizer stop their trials before they were done? Why was this allowed? Do you know this is a concern among the vaccine hesitant? What do you have to say about that?
  • Why do you not speak to the concerns those of us have about the “holy war” on ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine , when even YOUR WEBSITE has an article speaking to the effectiveness of ivermectin as a treatment for Covid? Are you even aware of this page on the NIH website?
  • Are you aware that your NIH website says, “Moderate-certainty evidence finds that large reductions in COVID-19 deaths are possible using ivermectin. Using ivermectin early in the clinical course may reduce numbers progressing to severe disease. The apparent safety and low cost suggest that ivermectin is likely to have a significant impact on the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic globally,” and do you understand why we are bothered this information keeps getting buried by the mainstream media?
  • Do you have concerns that the multitude of medical professionals speaking out about the potential dangers of this vaccine are being systematically targeted and removed from Facebook, YouTube and Twitter? Do you have concerns they are being fired from their teaching posts at medical schools across the country, even though many of them have dozens of peer-reviewed papers to their credit?
  • On that note, do you even know who Florence Nightengale was and why she is an important historic figure from medical history?
  • Why do you continue to speak of this as a vaccine as opposed to an mRNA technology/gene therapy? Do you not know that the people who are concerned about getting this thing have specific concerns about that and that is the difference that causes them to hesitate? Are you aware that gene therapies have a whole higher level of testing and if so, why are you not speaking to the safety of this thing through THAT lens?
  • Would you reconsider any of your statements now, considering how the results of this in Israel are continuing to look like the worst problems in Israel are among the vaccinated as compared to the unvaccinated?
  • Are you aware of the results in Sweden from taking a non-lockdown approach and how herd immunity appears to have taken effect there without a vaccine?
  • If you are concerned about people and their health, why are you not speaking to vitamin C and D, and to zinc – as immune boosters? (Maybe you do, but why are so many hospitals refusing to even add these to the protocols?)
  • Do you even know about the concerns raised by so many doctors regarding the over-reporting of Covid as a cause of death when this is plainly not the case in so many deaths? Do you have any awareness of the payouts for reporting

Doc, I could go on and on. But the plain fact of the matter is you never spoke to the very issues that are of concern to the unvaccinated. You’re only ever preaching to the choir.

And, quite frankly, it seems you’re drastically uninformed as to the issues we need addressed before your advice will do any more than convince people like you that our concerns are unfounded.

Sigmund Frued was known to have said that “Christianity is a process whereby we teach people only to ask the questions for which we have answers.”

If you want to reach me, please hear the questions I am asking, and answer those. Otherwise, I already have heard what you’re saying and already know why it means nothing to me. But it is a sad commentary on how inadequate your approach is.

Maybe the government’s carrot-and-stick approach wouldn’t need so much stick if the carrots were what we were really hungry for. Just sayin’…..

Is Canada Becoming A Communist Country

I see a lot of discussion on Facebook about Canada and Trudeau and how he seems to be pushing ever more toward a communist-style leadership. And the question that often comes up is, “is Canada becoming a Communist country?”

Canada and Communism, from one reader’s view

I thought the point was made well, and so I will lob this out, pretty much as one of the people on Facebook said it recently. See what you think.

I really don’t want to have to keep talking about this but most people are totally sleepwalking through the most dangerous time in Canadian history. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, the people in the parties of our government are colluding to implement communism.

Here are just a few things that have happened recently that you probably have no idea about because the media is basically state propaganda and covers up for them:

-Bill C-10, the internet censorship bill was passed at 1:30am a couple days ago with the Bloc, NDP, Liberals and Green Party all colluding together to ram it through. (Still has to go through the senate)

-Bill C-36 is proposed which will see Canadians fined up to $70K and placed on house arrest for posting things online that the government deems hate speech. (Both of these bills are what China and North Korea do)

-The liberals are suing the House of Commons (unprecedented) to prevent documents from coming out about the firing of two scientists in the Winnipeg microbiology lab

-Our government is arresting the political opposition and the pastors of churches. (Another move that the Chinese Communist Party makes too)

-They are still pushing forward the gun ban and adding more to it behind the scenes

-In the beginning of the ‘pandemic’ Trudeau attempted to give himself unlimited power for 2 years to spend our money and raise taxes without having to run it by anyone. That was stopped but it hasn’t stopped him from giving away all our money which setting us up for a massive financial crisis that will destroy people’s lives in the near future, not to mention hyper-inflation.

These are just a few things as there is a lot more evidence that proves the people in our government do not care about the people they are supposed to serve. They are corrupt to the core and only care about enriching themselves and are doing everything they can to gain ultimate power and enslave us. It’s “in-your-face” obvious at this point.

Don’t let today’s ignorance become tomorrow’s nightmare. Start paying attention. Your future and your kids future has never been in more danger than right now.

P.S. this is the same government that raped, abused, tortured and murdered children in residential schools. They didn’t magically just get better.

If you want to see just how dysfunctional Trudeau has become in governing Canada, listen to this.

Michelle Remple Garner is a conservative member of federal parliament. She gives here a rundown on Trudeau’s antics of late and what this kind of behaviour means for the Canadian government if no one stands up to him.

Scripture commands us to pray for our leadership and all in authority. This man needs to be made aware of his responsibility to not destroy the very democracy that brought him to power.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Is Trudeau Selling Canada Out To One World Government?

A year ago I would have said this was beyond unbelievable. But now, I really have to wonder.

Prime Minister Trudeau is either loved or hated in Canada, depending on your political predisposition. He seems to be applauded by many for his progressive views on the government taking care of everyone and his desire to accommodate the whims of many special interest groups.

He is greatly disliked by others for similar reasons. And those who don’t like him also often distrust him for what appears to be a lust for power.

And troubling to many, he seems to be fond of communist dictatorships.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqnmfNiaM-Y

Now, I saw a Facebook post recently that I found troubling, partly because it sounded creepy and partly because of friends that were writing to me on Messenger to get my thoughts about it – friends that I find to be rather “low-key” on these types of things, tending to not jump too quickly to conclusions.

Read it for yourself. I wasn’t sure what to do with it by itself. But when I put it together with some other things, it leaves me really wondering what he is up to.

Here is a letter as published in a Facebook post. You be the judge.

This needs to go VIRAL!!!!! Only each person can decide if this is real or not. It matches exactly what we have all read and researched will happen IF we don’t stop this. This is ALREADY happening in other countries…This is a leaker from the liberal party of canada. Please contact all levels of authorities and gov that we know the plan. The isolation centers we already know are bring built as shown on the gov website RFP program.

Dear REMOVED,

I want to provide you some very important information. I’m a committee member within the Liberal Party of Canada. I sit within several committee groups but the information I am providing is originating from the Strategic Planning committee (which is steered by the PMO).

I need to start off by saying that I’m not happy doing this but I have to. As a Canadian and more importantly as a parent who wants a better future not only for my children but for other children as well. The other reason I am doing this is because roughly 30% of the committee members are not pleased with the direction this will take Canada, but our opinions have been ignored and they plan on moving forward toward their goals. They have also made it very clear that nothing will stop the planned outcomes.

The road map and aim was set out by the PMO and is as follows:

– Phase in secondary lock down restrictions on a rolling basis, starting with major metropolitan areas first and expanding outward. Expected by November 2020.

– Rush the acquisition of (or construction of) isolation facilities across every province and territory. Expected by December 2020.

– Daily new cases of COVID-19 will surge beyond capacity of testing, including increases in COVID related deaths following the same growth curves. Expected by end of November 2020.

– Complete and total secondary lock down (much stricter than the first and second rolling phase restrictions). Expected by end of December 2020 – early January 2021

– Reform and expansion of the unemployment program to be transitioned into the universal basic income program. Expected by Q1 2021.

– Projected COVID-19 mutation and/or co-infection with secondary virus (referred to as COVID-21) leading to a third wave with much higher mortality rate and higher rate of infection. Expected by February 2021.

– Daily new cases of COVID-21 hospitalizations and COVID-19 and COVID-21 related deaths will exceed medical care facilities capacity. Expected Q1 – Q2 2021.

– Enhanced lock down restrictions (referred to as Third Lock Down) will be implemented. Full travel restrictions will be imposed (including inter-province and inter-city). Expected Q2 2021.

– Transitioning of individuals into the universal basic income program. Expected mid Q2 2021.

– Projected supply chain break downs, inventory shortages, large economic instability. Expected late Q2 2021.

– Deployment of military personnel into major metropolitan areas as well as all major roadways to establish travel checkpoints. Restrict travel and movement. Provide logistical support to the area. Expected by Q3 2021.

Along with that provided road map the Strategic Planning committee was asked to design an effective way of transitioning Canadians to meet a unprecedented economic endeavor. One that would change the face of Canada and forever alter the lives of Canadians. What we were told was that in order to offset what was essentially an economic collapse on a international scale, that the federal government was going to offer Canadians a total debt relief. This is how it works: the federal government will offer to eliminate all personal debts (mortgages, loans, credit cards, etc) which all funding will be provided to Canada by the IMF under what will become known as the World Debt Reset program. In exchange for acceptance of this total debt forgiveness the individual would forfeit ownership of any and all property and assets forever. The individual would also have to agree to partake in the COVID-19 and COVID-21 vaccination schedule, which would provide the individual with unrestricted travel and unrestricted living even under a full lock down (through the use of photo identification referred to as Canada’s HealthPass) .

Committee members asked who would become the owner of the forfeited property and assets in that scenario and what would happen to lenders or financial institutions, we were simply told “the World Debt Reset program will handle all of the details”. Several committee members also questioned what would happen to individuals if they refused to participate in the World Debt Reset program, or the HealthPass, or the vaccination schedule, and the answer we got was very troubling. Essentially we were told it was our duty to make sure we came up with a plan to ensure that would never happen. We were told it was in the individuals best interest to participate. When several committee members pushed relentlessly to get an answer we were told that those who refused would first live under the lock down restrictions indefinitely. And that over a short period of time as more Canadians transitioned into the debt forgiveness program, the ones who refused to participate would be deemed a public safety risk and would be relocated into isolation facilities. Once in those facilities they would be given two options, participate in the debt forgiveness program and be released, or stay indefinitely in the isolation facility under the classification of a serious public health risk and have all their assets seized.

So as you can imagine after hearing all of this it turned into quite the heated discussion and escalated beyond anything I’ve ever witnessed before. In the end it was implied by the PMO that the whole agenda will move forward no matter who agrees with it or not. That it wont just be Canada but in fact all nations will have similar roadmaps and agendas. That we need to take advantage of the situations before us to promote change on a grander scale for the betterment of everyone. The members who were opposed and ones who brought up key issues that would arise from such a thing were completely ignored. Our opinions and concerns were ignored. We were simply told to just do it.

All I know is that I don’t like it and I think its going to place Canadians into a dark future.

Now, if this letter existed in isolation, it might not bother me so much. But there are other things that link with it to give you chills.

Take this exchange with a member of the Ontario parliament with a speaker of the house, asking about internment camps and the Canadian government’s looking for contractors with interest in building them:

It’s very interesting that this above video used to be available on youtube. Now it’s been removed. You have to go to a “right-wing” site like Rumble or Bitchute to find it anymore. Wonder why?

It seems they’re not hiding the idea that they want to be able to detain people at will. The question has to be, “why?”

One has to wonder if part of this is jockeying for standing with Biden in case Trump loses the soon-coming election. (He won’t lose. But they seem to think he will, it seems.)

But there is a worldwide push from some elite to want to do a “global financial reset.” I’m not sure yet what that means.

But right now, it is scary to think about what it means.

Why Pastor Artur Pawlowski Was Arrested In The Middle Of A Calgary Highway

After having heard his testimony, I am infuriated to discover why Pastor Artur Pawlowski was arrested on a Calgary Highway. It’s despicable and cowardly on behalf of the Alberta law enforcement and they need to held accountable for this draconian overreach.

Now, if you’ve read my site for any time now, you know I’m rather strongly “anti-mask” and anti-lockdown.

If you know who I’m referring to, you can hear his side of the story in the video at the bottom of the post. But if you don’t know who he is, enjoy the first video and then when you see the second one, and wonder why pastor Artur was arrested in the middle of a Calgary highway, you can hear him describe the situation in his own words.

This man has been treated worse by the Calgary police than many people are treated in prison in some communist countries.

You probably know the guy I’m referring to, even if you don’t know his name. He’s the guy who has become somewhat of a Canadian Hero for demanding the police leave his church. If you haven’t seen this, please watch. It explains why he is a hero to many and also why he may be the target of the police.

https://youtu.be/XyzH6sLHLZw

Anyone following the news on Pastor Pawlowski knows that he has been getting his share of harassment from the Calgary Police department.

But THIS??? Arrested in THE MIDDLE OF A HIGHWAY?

Supposedly, the arrest was for “contempt of court.”

The real problem for the authorities is they KNOW they have no rights to do anything to stop this guy. And this is the burr under their saddle.

You see, Canada has been handing out fines right and left for these gatherings, for people refusing to quarantine when returning to Canada from abroad, for not limiting the sizes of social gatherings and all kinds of other stuff.

And this guy is really getting to them.

But WHY the arrest in the MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY?

Well, this is the most infuriating part. You can hear his testimony in his own words in the video below. But the quick answer is this.

One Sunday, pastor Pawlowski left his church doors open. The police came by, but have never been successful in issuing him tickets, or getting him to comply, or to get him to shut up.

So they come by on a Sunday, DROP A CITATION OFF ON THE PORCH that says he is supposed to appear in court. And then later, when he didn’t “comply” with this court order that HE NEVER ACTUALLY RECEIVED, they arrested him for “contempt of court.”

When the police are on the right side of the law, they don’t have to set up false pretenses to arrest people. This is so blatantly obvious it makes me want to scream.

Hear him, in his own words.,

If you’re Canadian, you need to write, call, protest, support the protestors and those who are opposing these unlawful lockdowns.

Not only was he arrested, he was left to lie on a concrete floor for 24 hours and denied access to his legal representation.

These people are underhanded and need to be reeled in.

This has to stop.

Canadian federal court rules Trudeau COVID hotels violate the Canadian Charter of Rights

Canada’s Prime Minister Trudeau seems to be a one-man wrecking ball.

He seems to be waging a systematic war on “disagreeable” Canadians and their rights under their Charter Of Rights And Freedoms.

Consider the following headline that was found on Rebel News:

Patient returning to Canada has $3,750 Quarantine Act ticket in limbo

Now, that may or may not sound scary. But consider the reality in Canada right now when you return to the country after travelling internationally.

According to the Canadian government, there is a “mandatory 3 day stopover.” Aren’t sure what that means? Check it out.

But all is not (yet) lost. According to a recent article in The Post Millenial,

An interim injunction which would have required nine Canadians to isolate in government-controlled hotels was denied by a federal court on Monday.

The nine people in question, despite having tested negative for COVID, would have had to stay in a hotel as directed by government officials. They would have had to remain locked in their hotel rooms for a total of at least three days, and would have been sent a bill for at least $2,000 for expenses.

According to a statement released by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, the court involved in striking the injunction down is not the same court that issued it in the first place.

Thank God for some sanity in Canada (so far).

In the statement by the court, it was obvious they thought it was an overreach:

The Court went on to say: “History demonstrates why the bulwark of the robust protection of Charter rights by an independent judiciary is so important in times of crisis.”

“The forced isolation of returning Canadian air travellers is arbitrary, unnecessary, and totalitarian”, states Justice Centre Litigation Director, Jay Cameron.  “These quarantine hotels and restrictive measures are more consistent with a dictatorship than a free society.  We look forward to the full hearing of these issues in early June.”

You can read the statement by the Justice Center For Constitutional Freedoms here. Please visit the JCCF website to see what they do and why Canadians need to speak up before it is too late.

The hearing where the constitutionality of quarantine hotels and quarantine will be determined will be held on Jun. 1-3, 2021.

The Prime Minister of Canada, his Liberal Party and the NDP (who seem to have decided the best they can do is ally with the Liberals to prevent a Conservative Party influence) are long overdue to be voted out of office.

In the meantime, consider supporting Rebel News and their efforts to push back against these draconian measures.

These are the kinds of ridiculous overreaches of authority being perpetrated on the Canadian population by a government and a police force out of control. Get a look:

Canada is on the edge of a strong tyranny against their rights to do anything except what the Prime Minister tells them. He needs to be stopped.

An Open Letter To New York’s “Black Lives Matter” Leader Hawk Newsome

An Open Letter To Hawk Newsome

Dear Hawk;

My readers might not be familiar with the name “Hawk Newsome.” But many probably saw a recent viral video of you at a recent Trump rally, where you took the stage to speak for two minutes to speak to the Trumpers there about what is on your heart about your cause – the Black Lives Matter movement.

I did watch the video with great interest. If nothing else, it brought home the reality that so much of the division in the country between different racial factions might actually come closer to being bridged if we just gave each other the chance to speak and if we really listen to each other.

Actually, I don’t know that I would have thought to write this open letter to you, simply based on what I heard in that speech on the video. What has prompted me to write is that I heard an interview you did recently with Detroit’s Stephen Henderson on NPR’s local station WDET. I listened to that interview with a greater interest than I even had about the video.

And actually, it was some of the ideas that the two of you seemed to hold in common that prompted me to write .

First of all, know that I loved your speech.

What you said was right on the money. “We don’t want anything that’s yours; we don’t want handouts. We want our God-given right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” (CHEERS). “All lives matter, right? If we want to make America great, we do it together.”

You made some other great points. Like, “the great thing about America is that if you see something broken, you can do something to fix it.” Amen to that. It’s a great country, even with all its flaws.

I suppose there might have been a point or two that struck me as a little off. But to nitpick about the finer points isn’t fair to you. After all, can you really find any two people that agree on everything? If I were to challenge every detail, it would miss the point you were trying to hammer home. I heard loud and clear what I believe your heart was. I believe your point was that you don’t want conflict. You want to make things better.

Based on how you handled yourself, you strike me as a good man.

In fact, I really wish we could talk. I think I would benefit from knowing you.

Having said that, and In the spirit of trying to create effective dialog, I want to say a couple things that I wish you and others in the BLM movement could understand. It doesn’t seem that the majority of your followers typically do. But then, I may be wrong. I don’t know any of them personally, so how would I know? I only get what I get from the news, and we all know how distorted and selective those messages can be, no matter who does the reporting, right?

So you can get a radar fix on where I am coming from, I will say, in the interest of you hearing my take on this, that I am what I would call a “reluctant Trumper.”

Now, I don’t propose to speak for all Donald Trump supporters. After all, as you know, there are among them some KKK members, some skinheads and some other people who just hate black people because they are black.

That is not me. Those people make me ill. They really do. And the fact that they are happy that Donald Trump got into office is annoying. Those types don’t get at all why Trump would get my vote.

I believe I am more the norm for a “Trumper” as opposed to them. You see, in my travels and in my interaction with others, the bulk of the Trump supporters I meet are kind of like me: we dislike the hate groups as much as you do. We hate what the KKK stands for; we loved Martin Luther King and embraced his ideas many years ago when they were fresh. We, too (whether or not you know it) have a dream that somehow we could all somehow become “color-blind.”

Anyway, the reason I am writing is this:

I  found it curious how you and Stephen agreed on a particular point that seemed a little strange to me.

If I understood the conversation, you both seemed to have the idea that perhaps these Trump fans, when presented with the ideas you put forward at that rally, might have somehow, in that moment, all sort of come to the conclusion that some of the points you were making just started to make sense in context; as if somehow, when confronted with your thoughts, they might have suddenly realized for the first time that your interests as BLM aren’t all that unreasonable. I believe you both wondered if you might have somehow penetrated the “Trump rhetoric” on the right that had been clouding their thinking all along until that very moment you spoke.

But with all due respect, Mr. Newsome, I don’t think you get it.

I wondered if  you might have gotten it the day of your speech, based on the remarks you made at the end of the video. But in this interview it seems you may have reprocessed the experience to the point of missing the golden nugget that was there for you.

May I suggest there might have been something else happening at that rally that led to all the unexpected applause?

If (as is likely) the people at that rally are anything like me, the reason they were cheering when you brought those ideas forth was not because, in a moment of sudden inspiration, the scales fell off their eyes and your ideas made sense for the first time, as if they had never thought that way before.

No, Mr Newsome. If that is what you think, then I believe that you are out of touch with where the average Trump supporter is, and where much of where conservative America is.

Those people cheered because for a long time now, they already embraced the ideas you were presenting in that speech; and in that instant, they cheered robustly to try to communicate that fact.

They cheered when you spoke about police brutality against blacks because they already hate it when it happens; they cheered when you said, “all lives matter, right?” because they already do believe all lives matter, including black lives. And even though they recognize that many in the BLM movement find the phrase “all lives matter” to be belittling to the cause of BLM, they were cheering because you were acknowledging to them (in that moment, anyway) that you might be hearing them a little bit, too. They want peace, justice and equality as much as you do.

But if I can speak as one Trump fan who hates racism, and who freely admits that there are still many areas where there is racial injustice in the USA –  there is something that bothers me.

It bothers me when much of what we see from BLM is so much of the stuff that you didn’t say in that speech.

Don’t get me wrong. I thought you did a commendable job in the moment. I think you might well have felt you were walking into the gates of racist hell. No one, off the cuff, confronted by a swarm of people he perceives to be his enemies, will always do a perfect job of delivering the exact message he wants to get across. Considering the time frame and the feelings I’m sure you had, you did a bang-up job. It was commendable.

But what you didn’t say in that speech, what you didn’t address and what was likely on the hearts and minds of many in that crowd were the many questions, problems and complaints that people on my side of this issue are constantly grappling with.

You didn’t speak to the violence that comes from the BLM side of the movement. You didn’t address the rhetoric like “what do we want? Dead cops. When do we want ‘em? Now!” You said nothing to acknowledge that any of the violence perpetrated by the BLM movement is a little over the top, or that assassinating white police officers in ambush style is also a terrible waste of lives in the “ALL Lives Matter” movement.

But you only had two minutes.

You were putting your best foot forward to show us that you are not an unreasonable man, and your movement isn’t asking for unreasonable changes. I get that.

I also recognize that there is the leadership in a movement and then there is the membership which may or may not embrace or even understand the views of the leadership. So often there seems to be much more heat than light in the lower ranks of any organization.

So I don’t hold any of that against you in your “one crack at the bat,” two-minute speech. There were much more important points that you needed to make. And from my side, it’s alright. And from my side, I believe you needed to understand that your ideas were already embraced by many whom you thought were opposed to you.

I will also say that I would love to have a chance to get to know you, to hear your heart and your story. Because, from my side of this….

I freely admit that I probably understand little of your experience.

I will never forget the moment when I had an occasion about 15 years ago to speak with a young man who travelled down from Michigan to work in Springhill, Tennessee. He told me about an incident that occurred when he was checking into a local motel down there for the first time in town. His story was shocking to me as much as it was shocking when he first experienced it.

As he told the story, it was that he (a white man) was standing in line at the motel counter. There was a white woman working behind the desk. She was taking care of a white woman who was first in line. Behind her was a black lady, second in line. And he was standing behind her, third in line. He said the black woman in front of him had two dollar bills in her hand, and he assumed this black lady was waiting for change for the vending machine.

As the story went, the white female clerk finished with the first customer – the white woman, and (in his words) looked right through the black woman at him and said, “yes sir. Can I help you?”

He was a little surprised; but not knowing exactly what was going on, he said to the clerk, “that’s ok. You can help her first. I think she just needs change for the vending machine.”

And in an instant, the clerk’s countenance changed. She reached into her till, counted out 8 quarters and slammed them on the counter, grabbed the bills from the black woman and said to him in a quite harsh tone, “what do you want?”

He was stunned when it happened. And I was stunned later when he told me the story. And perhaps you’ll just think my whiteness is showing here.

Or perhaps you can realize that  it  just might be the way I was raised – my unique experience growing up. We all have stories as unique as fingerprints, don’t we?

You see, I was raised in a community where we had a few black people who lived in our community but whenever I was exposed to racist attitudes, my good Christian parents were quick to point out to me how wrong and backward those ideas were; that we were all God’s children and were all the same in his eyes.

And so my story is not one of not caring about the types of systemic racism that may well exist far more than I know and about which BLM protests. My story is simply one of not having heard your story and the stories of so many people of color.

But sir, if I can say this:

There is an inverse relationship between the violence from some in your movement and the ability for those of us with a different experience to hear you.

I hope you can hear that point. Many opposed Dr. Martin Luther King when he took his cause for justice on the road. But there were many people – black and white (as you know) who not only heard the message, but they heard it and embraced it to the point that some white people died for the right of people like Dr. King to be judged, not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

But Dr. King had character. And the violence of some in the BLM movement distracts from your character if you do not acknowledge that it is not the best way forward.

But as I said, I realize you only had two minutes.

And I believe, having heard you, not merely under fire for your two-minute blurb, but in that interview with Stephen Henderson, that you are a man of character, too. I heard your heart at the end of the video, where you were speaking of what surprised you that day and what you learned from people you previously considered to be your avowed enemies. It takes character to quickly acknowledge what you learned from your experience that day. Not everyone can do that. Most people are much quicker to simply rearrange their presuppositions.

Just don’t reprocess the experience to the point of missing what I am trying to say: we want justice for all, too. But we already did before you spoke.

And as much as I do hope you can hear that, I pray that people who have grown up more sheltered, perhaps as I did, will want to hear all the individual stories that have caused so many in the black community to feel marginalized and unheard.

We all need to hear the stories.

It is all too easy to reinforce our own echo-chambers, listening only to those on our side who want to agree with us.

But if that is all we do, we will never change and grow. White people need to hear stories like yours to know how much these things might still be going on. And black people need to hear the stories like mine so you can understand we aren’t against you but rather maybe truly unaware.

I loved the magic that happened that day. I love the fact that those people generally embraced you. I pray you will see that the reason they cheered at so much you said that day was not merely because you convinced in the moment of things they hadn’t thought about before.

Hopefully, you’ll soon embrace the reality that they cheered because most of them were already there, longing for the chance for you to show up so they could embrace with you what we all want: freedom, liberty, an end to racism, an end to police violence, and end to crime, pain and suffering.

But it starts by talking to each other. Thanks for bravely taking that podium. And thanks for listening.

Perhaps we will someday meet. And perhaps, some day, we will all look back and see those were two minutes that changed the world.

Sincerely,

Cogny Mann

Islam, Special Interests, And The End-Run Around The Church

I wouldn’t say that it’s a partnership, to be sure. At their core beliefs, if these groups (the groups like gay rights groups, black lives matter, etc. and hardline believers Islam) were to compare notes, the former groups would be killed by the latter group if the tables were turned and the same players were suddenly transported to pretty much any middle-eastern culture – Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, etc., etc..

WHAT IS THIS CURIOUS DANCE BETWEEN RIGHTS GROUPS AND ISLAM?

But for some reason, in the modern West, gay rights groups often seem to be willing to form emotional ties to those in the Muslim community, standing up for them as “oppressed minorities,” and seemingly simply because they seem to feel oppressed themselves; and in that frame of mind, perhaps they find a sensitivity and/or feel a need to identify with other groups who are “oppressed.” And it seems there is no end in some places (for some of the Muslim belief) of complaints about being spoken badly of and not able to practice their religion as freely as they would like, or to not be spoken badly about.

It seems to be an odd phenomenon that also occurs between blacks in the “black lives matter” groups and the black panthers. When the protests were going on in Baltimore, there were some strange alliances between the “black lives matter” protesters and black panther/Muslim groups.

There doesn’t seem to be any kinship between these different groups except that you have groups (blacks, gays) who feel oppressed and other groups (Muslims – not all of them, for sure, but some) who will will capitalize on that feeling, giving a false sense of “we identify with your struggle” in order to gain their trust and draw them in to strategic alliances of sorts – in protests, demanding of the silencing of the Judeo-Christian voice which still remains in the culture.

Special Interests, Gay Rights Groups And Islam

The frightening thing that most in the “black lives matter” and gay rights groups don’t see is how this is the type is that some (SOME – NOT all) in the Muslim way of thinking may well have intentions of allowing these gay rights groups and “black lives matter” types do their dirty work for them – by allowing these special-interest groups to do the marching, the protesting and the heavy lifting of getting laws entrenched to silence the Judeo-Christian conscience that remains in our society, so that once this is done, the laws can be changed to make speaking out against their beliefs “hate speech” and therefore doing so will be a hate crime. There is a house resolution before congress about this:

Muslims are 1% of the population and sharia is already being enforced on the American people. Speak out now and prepare to take action or, as history has proven, your children and theirs will be the victims of Islamic supremacy and they will have to fight the physical war to defeat Islam. It’s clear which side the current U.S. government is on, and it’s not yours. via The Rule of Reason ::  Weblog of the Center for the Advancement of Capitalism

Stephen Coughlin alerted me to a House Resolution introduced on December 17th,H.Res.569, “Condemning violence, bigotry, and hateful rhetoric towards Muslims in the United States.114th Congress (2015-2016).” As of this writing, the country remains clueless about this development.

Brigette Gabriel, a Lebanese-born Christian speaks openly about this type of thing happening historically in her native Lebanon, though it was much more violent and insidious. She speaks of how Lebanon was a peaceful country and culture where the government was a secular one; and yet, certain radical-leaning Muslims worked their way into places of influence in civil and federal government until they hit a critical mass; and then, within weeks,  they were coming down, hard and heavy on the general population – killing people in the streets, demanding they convert to Islam or die, slicing pregnant women’s bellies open in the streets and killing their babies in front of them, all supposedly “in the name of spreading Islam.”

In her book, “Because They Hate,” she discusses some brutal methods used by the PLO to terrify and intimidate Christians to bring Islamic conversions:

They started massacring the Christians in city after city. The Western media seldom reported these horrific events. Most of the press was located in West Beirut, controlled by the PLO and Muslims. One of the most ghastly acts was the massacre in the Christian city of Damour, where thousands of Christians were slaughtered like sheep. The combined forces of the PLO and the Muslims would enter a bomb shelter and see a mother and a father hiding with a little baby. They would tie one leg of the baby to the mother and one leg to the father and pull the parents apart, splitting the child in half.

A close friend of mine became mentally disturbed after they made her slaughter her own son in a chair. They tied her to a chair, tied a knife to her hand, and, holding her hand, forced her to cut her own sixteen-year old son’s throat. After killing him they raped her two daughters in front of her. They would urinate and defecate on the altars of churches using the pages of the Bible as toilet paper before shooting and destroying the church. Americans just don’t realize the viciousness of the militant Islamic fundamentalist. They refuse to see it even when they look today at video footage of churches being burned in Iraq or different parts of the world or synagogues being destroyed in Gaza.

I DO NOT HATE MUSLIMS

I do not hate Muslims. And for the record, I will be among the first to say that I perceive the great majority of Muslims (I do believe, even in the Middle East) believe it is wrong to kill people simply because we have a different ideology. I think many people who embrace Islam do so with an ache in their hearts for how badly they believe that people with an ISIS mentality misunderstand and misapply the Quran to support what these more moderate Muslims believe to be pure evil. (And if you’re a moderate Muslim in a country that is infiltrated by a critical mass of people in ISIS, you’re going to keep your mouth shut just to survive. Who could blame any of them for that?)

Here in the west, especially, there seem to be a number – a large, significant number – of Muslims who see the need to not entrench sharia law in our legal repertoire. They are what I (and many who are students of Islam) believe to be what would be called the more “moderate” flavor of Islam. I believe these people are kind, compassionate, hospitable and are as interested as we are – we, meaning Evangelical Christians – in allowing people to live freely according to their own beliefs, without compulsion.

But if you look at Germany in the 1930’s, and what Hitler did there, you’ll see that it didn’t take much of a percentage of the population who was radical, combined with a critical mass of the population who stayed silent for mere self-preservation for that evil to thrive and flourish to the point where they were able to kill over 6 million Jews – not to mention all the persecution of gypsies, some Christian/Catholic people and others in the mix.

JESUS COMMANDS US TO LOVE EVEN OUR ENEMIES

For the record, I want to be clear that if Jesus commands us to love even our enemies, then how much more should we strive to love those who might oppose Him if it is only out of ignorance and because of what they have been wrongly taught.

There are two different incidents in the scriptures where Jesus spoke about a similar topic, and if you aren’t careful to understand the context, then from an outsider’s point of view, you might be inclined to see them almost as contradictory statements.

There was the time Jesus said, “he who is not for me is against me.” (Matt. 12:30)

There was also the time Jesus said, “he who is not against me is for me.” (Mark 9:40)

Perhaps some of the processing we need to do as the body of Christ regarding how we interact with our Muslim neighbors is in discerning the difference between “he who is not for me” and “he who is not against me.” Rick Warren has tried to bridge this gap in working toward common goals with Muslims who are trying to bring peace to rule, and he has been hammered mercilessly by some in the evangelical church. This is embarrassing. I’ve written about this elsewhere, and you need to be aware of what he did and didn’t say, in light of all his false accusers who make him out to be “the antichrist.”

We need to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matt. 10:16). We also need to shine like lights in the midst of a wicked and perverse generation. And there may come a time where we shine the brightest even as we lay down our lives for the sake of the gospel.

If we do, we should always remember that Jesus, who died for us and rose again, who is seated at the right hand of the father, stood up in tribute to Stephen as he entered into glory to be with Jesus (Acts 7:56).

But our hearts should be right as we witness, whether in life or in death, always aware that even Saul killed some in ignorance, thinking he was serving God in the process. But eventually, after sewing the blood of the martyrs, which is the seed of the church, God converted him. He went on to plant churches, write two thirds of the new testament and eventually lay his own life down for the sake of the gospel.

Never forget that these people, who may well persecute you someday, might well be the very ones that God will want to use you to draw to the saviour.

Jesus loves these dear people – all of them – the gays, the “black lives matter” folks, the Muslims. We cannot afford to despise any of them, though we disagree with them about who our saviour is and about how they must live to please him.

So be sure always to be “on your knees in your heart,” knowing that it is being in that posture before God where you become the most effective in showing anyone who Jesus truly is.
